Surcharge genuine.  Forged cancel.

The Gibbons' catalogue price for each of the four surcharges is four times more for used than mint; this suggests a greater scarcity, which, in turn, has given rise to opportunistic attempts to 'produce' used examples for monetary gain.  Most 'add-on' cancels tend to be blurred, illegible, or non-descript.

Surcharge genuine.  A fake REGD. BULAWAYO cancel.

Surcharge appears genuine.  Forged BULAWAYO cancel over a cleaned, fiscally-used cancel (pencil), the remnants of which are clearly visible.

Both the surcharge and the cancel are forged, as is the stamp - a lithograph printing attributed to Erasmus Oneglia.
